Do we really need nutritional supplements?

There are so much hype about taking nutritional supplements. Some of the advertisements are so convincing and one really get sucked into the belief that we need supplements to tide us through our busy days. Long gone were the days when we have three square meals consisting of nutritious foods. Nowadays, we are so busy we hardly have time to eat properly and what more prepare balanced meals.

So, in a way, nutritional supplements may be good for these people. In this case, a majority of us. Moreover, if you are the health freak, it will also provide you the help you need to reduce weight, build muscles and make a trimmer you.

A few of my friends believe in slimming down by cutting their meals and supplementing with meals replacement. I do not think I can stick to these regimes because I will die without eating. I won’t be able to take only certain meals and stay away from certain group of foods. So, maybe there are other alternatives for people like me who likes food.
