One of these days, I am going to end up in the asylum. I have two PC on a small 3 feet wide table. There are two mice or is it two mouse-s? The Mac OS and the Vista have different icons and different commands. I have to keep switching from Mac to Vista.

I sometimes think I am a genius because I can manage both. Other women my age probably freaked out with the amount of gadgets on my tables. Let’s not forget the card readers, the phones, the cameras, the external hard drive and yada yadda yadda. Yes, I am a tech genius.

Have you ever got into a situation where you totally have no money? I did went through those times when I was single and living on my own. I survive solely on my own salary back then and it wasn’t much. At the end of the month, I would be so broke I had to eat sparsely and wait for pay day. Unfortunately, times were bad back then and sometimes, our salaries were delayed by a couple of days. That’s when all of us panic because we need money to last us for the next month. I need to pay for my room rental and the transport.

Thank God I survived, albeit with a little hardship. I was never pushed to the limit of needing a loan because I was a very stingy person and only spend on the basic necessities. However, my single friends always ended up in debts because they couldn’t resist shopping for clothes even when they couldn’t afford it.

People like my friends will then need Payday Loans. They can get quick cash without much question. The amount they can borrow depends on their salary but it can be anything from $200 to $1,500 within 24 hours. I certainly wouldn’t advise anyone to borrow to feed their shopping needs. But if they have legit reasons, then, I guess they gotta do what they gotta do.

Just yesterday, I lamented about poor neglected parents in my previous post. When I was in Italy, I saw many of these elderly gentlemen and ladies having a good time at their town square, normally singing, dancing and drinking. There is such an air of gaiety about them. Eventhough some of them have difficulties walking and need walking aids, that doesn’t stop them from going around on buses and meeting up with friends.

However, what lies beyond when they are ill and need caring? I heard that many of them have insurance and will spend their time in homes where their medical needs are taken care of. My mother-in-law too had spent the final years of her life in a home because none of us know how to take care of her.

I suppose getting old and needing care is inevitable part of our lives. We went to this place which is rather secluded.  It is one of those very cheap motel in the jungle.  Nice clean air, hot springs and basic stuffs around.

A car load of old folks were there, eager to check in to the motel.  They brought along a lot of foods, pots and pans and stuffs and had to struggle up the little hilly path with their trolleys.  Actually, they seem to be enjoying themselves with companies they like.  If I am not mistaken, there are six or five of them, old couples, some with difficulties walking but they are all bubbly and happy.

I joked with my sons that one day, hubby and I are going to be like them.  Poor neglected parents who have to stay in small motels.  So, they better study hard, work hard and earn lots of moolahs to see that hubby and I have luxurious five-star, butler at our beck and call, resort stay.  I demand it, darn it!  Hehehe, otherwise, I am going to save every cent I have for my retirement instead of putting them through colleges and universities.  Hmmm..maybe I can sign an agreement with them now?

The bane about being a blogger is how people thinks they have the right to preach to you. They will come by with their righteous views and tell you what not to do and what to do. Yo, whose blog and whose life is it anyway?

The other day, I said I like to gamble. Yes, I like to gamble but that doesn’t mean that I gamble all my assets away. I just did it for the thrills. But someone emailed me and reminded that it is against my faith. Ish, I have not sold my soul to the devil so stop preaching to me, okay?

The hubby and son went to the bank yesterday to pay for a shipment from China. My son got into this craze for reflective stuffs, slap wrap, phats and all those things. He needs to buy in bulk and though the prices are cheap, it means he will have a huge quantities of things that he need to sell.

So, I told him to start an online store and set up a shopping cart using one of those ecommerce software. That way, he can sell the extras online instead of pushing it physically through his classmates, church friends and youth groups. Actually, it is not that difficult because he already has a website and all he needs is the sofware like Ashop Commerce shopping cart software. It gives a complete solution for merchants to sell online.

Seriously, I think that’s one of the way my kids can indulge in their passion because they can buy in bulk from China and then, distribute the extras through an online store. However, I warned him that I am not going to be involve in the matter. He can ask his father to do the negotiations, payment and shipping because he can charms those Chinese girls better. LOL. They did the price negotiation over MSN, father, son and Chinese girl. Leave me alone to do my blogging.

I shared a lunch table with my hubby’s niece the other day. The place was crowded so I invited her friend and her to join us for lunch. So, I cannot help but overheard their conversation as we were seated so closed together. She was contemplating buying life insurance as she has just begun working and wish to find some form of security.

However, she doesn’t know much about insurance. Almost all of us get very confused with the different insurance terms and if not for my hubby, I probably wouldn’t know much too. Poor girl doesn’t even know where to begin asking question and when her friend started bombarding her with so many terms, she totally freaked out. I didn’t interrupt and just hope she bought something that she can afford and something that suits her needs.

It has become like an addiction.  Whenever I think of a nice name or a nice reason to get a domain, I will buy it.  Just last night, I thought of jotting down all I need regarding my new toy.  So, I thought of a nice name and bought the domain, put up the Wordpress and I am ready to roll.

However, I don’t have the time nor the contents yet.  I haven’t even find a nice theme to go with what i want to blog.  Yet, the thought of another domain is just so fulfiling.  Hey, it is only 10 bucks.  10 USD.  So what’s the big deal?  I got plenty of space in my BlueHost so I can buy 10 domains if I want to.

Previously, there were lots of movies related to dating like Hitch, Date Movie, How to marry a millionaire and How to lose a guy in 10 days. In fact, there are a lot more movies about dating and relationship. I just cannot recall them right now.

These movies are normally a hit with singles because it is not only romantic, it probably teaches them how to date a guy or gal. Some folks are just plain clueless and always failed miserably in their attempts to start a relationship.
